Ben Simpson – Keeper Virtual ever present this season, Ben has improved on last season and shown a consistancy required at this level.
James Norton – Keeper New signing pre-season. Spent time at Brigg Town last season has deputised for Ben earlier this season.
Steve Robinson – Defender Rangers Captain Fantastic last year. Used his experience from playing at Bridlington and Nth.Ferriby to bring on the youngsters around him has lead from the heart of Rangers defence and consistantly put in quality performances.
James Atkinson – Defence. Suffered a broken leg early last season that kept him out until November, then found himself competing with Matt Plant for the centre-back roll alongside Robbo. Has been out injured fro most of this season.
Matt Plant – Defence. Matt returns to the club after signing from Parkgate to play at centre back. Has become Robbo's regular partner at the back, and has scored his share of goals.
Billy Walmsley - Defender Returning to Rangers after a season away due to work commitments. Big player who uses his height well, Billy picked up a knee injury in his only Rangers performance.
Adam Deakin – Defender Ex-Scunthorpe YTS and Unibond side Frickley. Made his debut against Eccleshill this season at full back, has also played a few games in central midfield. Youngster who can be a little inconsistant.
Craig Sharpless – Midfield/Defence. Craig is a left sided player and will play in midfield or at full back. Made a storming start to the season, only to succumb to long term injury.
Judd Colley – Midfield/Defence. Another player returning to Rangers after a spell away. Last season he played at Staveley. Played pre-season at left back and central defence and has had a few games in central midfield. Very Quick and committed in the tackle.
Dave Ricardo – Midfield. Combative midfielder, Previous clubs include Beverley T. and Hall Road Rangers. Great attitude Dave refuses to give in even when dropped. Tenacious tackler and has improved as a player, seen more cards that Clintons.
Steven Underwood – Midfield. Signed from Bridlington, Ex Halifax T., Nth. Ferriby and Harrogate T. player. Strong in central midfield where he excelled last term. A vital cog through the spine of the side, likes to appear in the box to grab his share of the goals.
Danny Clarke – Midfield. Ex-Hull City Junior, and Hall Road player. Very adaptable, comfortable in central midfield and tearing down the left flank and up front. Very good feet, and a good engine, can get from box to box all game. Ever present this season and Wintertons secret Weapon.
Phil Jackson – Midfield. Ex-Grimsby Junior, Phil signed pre-season Has settled into the left back role as if born to play there, calm on the ball and clinical in his delivery. Impressive teenager.
Lee Mohammed – Midfield/Striker. Very promising youngster, with loads of pace and an eye for goal. A few rough edges but has the potential to scare any defence. Has played most games from the bench but has been given a run on the left of midfield.
Andy Holt –Forward. Ex-Scunthorpe junior Strong, quick with an eye for goal and lead from the front all last term barring injury. Training away from home has meant a reduced number of games played but Andy more than makes up on his return.Beware scores in pairs.
Rob Northen – Forward. Fired in a hat-trick against Hull City pre-season and hasn't looked back. Quick feet, hard work and a clinical eye for goal has seen Rob shine this season.
Billy Green-Defender. Old warhorse, has retired twice but still signed on to support the side, very fit and committed player, never let Rangers down in the ten years he has been here.
Nigel Croad - Defender Recent signing from Glasshoughton, Looks to be a good signing, so far played at Full back and Up front but normally a centre back, has been unlucky with injury since joining.
Nathan Would -Midfield. Young midfielder released by Grimsby Town, had a few runs from the subs bench in a very competative department, looks composed on the ball. Recently given the right back role and has shown Rangers what Grimsby let go.
Jonathan Haigh - Defender Jon signed pre-season but had an injury. Played his first game in December against Hallam at Full back. A character who has brought more than his six pack to the squad.
Dave Watson -Midfield. Dave has done very well since joining from Tadcaster playing on the right of midfield and already finding the net. Had a tough act to follow but has been very impressive in his recent performances.
